Naira Nigrelli (1996), with a Masters degree in Design and Fine Arts from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam) has a background in interior architecture and event planning. Since 2016, Naira has been working as a researcher, curator and freelance photographer in The Netherlands. 
Since 2016, Naira has curated numerous self-initiated exhibitions with venues such as Het Nieuwe Instituut (Rotterdam), The Grey Space in the Middle (The Hague) and PIP and Hoop Den Haag. Her collaborative master’s project Tools of Relation received a performance grant by the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2021 and her research was published by Onomatopee (2022). In 2022, Nigrelli took part in the Future Practices research group at the Sandberg Instituut to carry out field research on the professional preparation of students, given across BA and MA. 
Amongst others, her work has also been showcased at ARCAM (Amsterdam), Framer Framed (Amsterdam) and featured in the Subjective Atlas of Amsterdam (2022). Naira is also passionate about music, with a classical training from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi (Milano), enjoys performing both live and on radio with her synths. The most recent performance was aired on Radio Alhara and at Documenta 15 (Kassel).
